There are several methods of manufacturing Shichirin, Japan's most famous barbecue grill, but Kiridashi Shichirin is considered to be the pinnacle of the industry. Maruwa Kogyo, located in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is a group of specialists who make Kiridashi Shichirin, also using a traditional technique that has been used for over 400 years. They are made using high-quality local diatomaceous earth, which allows them to make the best use of charcoal as fuel for cooking.
